Why did I want to build a custom home?

I loved my townhome in downtown Cleveland, but I wanted more space to enjoy with my friends, family, and beautiful grandchildren.

What sets OWC apart from other builders?

I started online with a simple google search of local builders. I narrowed it down to a few that I thought fit my needs. What I really liked about Old World was your full custom approach to building. I visited the model home in Pepper Pike to see your work in person. I met Kevin English at the model and instantly hit it off. Kevin worked diligently to help narrow down the search for land as well as create a home design that blended my modern design aesthetic with the neighboring homes in Lakewood.

What did I enjoy most about the floor plan and design process?

I loved the modern design of my previous townhome and thought a larger version of it would be perfect on the lake. With Andrew & Kevin’s help, they navigated the arduous architectural review process in the city of Lakewood. They were able to combine my modern design with Traditional architectural detailing to blend with the neighboring homes.

What is my favorite location in my new home?

With having a breathtaking view of Lake Erie and the Cleveland Skyline, my favorite location is the second floor deck. Whether I am enjoying my morning coffee or winding down the day, nothing beats the calming atmosphere of this outdoor retreat.

What do I love most about living in my OWC home?

Every time I walk through the front door of my home it puts a smile on my face.  The city skyline is framed perfectly through my two-story great room windows and greets you as soon as walk through the front door. The open concept plan we collaborated on together allows me to take in the incredible view of the lake from all the main living spaces on the first floor.

The greatest accomplishment we have at the end of the building journey is not only the beautiful home we have built but the friendship we forge with our client. Once her home was completed our newest Old World homeowner invited us up for a beautiful evening to celebrate her Forever Home.
